IMBH 2024 – International Biennale Fine Arts Hamburg

I was selected for IMBH with the painting LIFELINES.
Explanations about the work:

Lifelines – logistics of the future

Transportation of goods by air, sea and land – the lifelines of our prosperity.
We – the people of the industrialized, western world – have become accustomed to a high standard of living. Many emerging countries are emulating this and more developing countries are waiting in the wings.
Now, however, climate change and the future of humanity are moving into the focus of the western world. Our planet’s resources are finite, ecosystems are under severe pressure.

Logistics of the future? – What future are we talking about?

Life means adaptation, change. Therefore:
Decarbonization and optimization of transport systems together with conscious, consistent RENUNCIATION for EVERYONE!
Then – perhaps – …… a prosperous future awaits us behind the rocks.

The selected works on the topic of the environment in the ecological discourse/logistics of the future will be exhibited in Hanburg from December 2nd.
